My name is Ira Vorobieva, I'm an artist, I live and work in Moscow, Russia.
I have been involved in drawing and painting all my life, but my first education was not related to art. In 1994 she graduated from the Moscow School of Physics and Mathematics and entered the Faculty of Informatics and Management Systems at the Moscow State Technical University named after N.E. Bauman (Moscow), which I graduated in 2000. Since 2000, I worked in my specialty, combining work with independent studies in painting and drawing.
In 2014, I began training at the courses of Additional Professional Education at the Moscow State Academy of Arts named after V.I. Surikov. In 2015, I was selected for the preparatory faculty at the Moscow State Academy of Arts named after V.I. Surikov, where I studied with teachers O.S. Chirkova, E.I. Lebedeva, O.G. Ivashchenko.
In 2016, I entered the full-time department of the Faculty of Painting of the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov, in the workshop of professors S.I. Shilnikov, N.A. Dubovik, and in 2018 I moved to the senior workshop under the guidance of Professor A.N. Sukhovetsky, where I studied with professors A.N. Sukhovetsky, V.N. Rusanov, Yu A. Grishchenko. In 2022, I graduated from the Moscow State Art Institute named after V.I. Surikov with honors, graduation qualification work (series of paintings "City by the Sea") received praise from the Art Council.
Since 2015, I have been actively participating in art exhibitions and open air, my works are in private collections in Russia and abroad.
Since 2022, I am a member of the Moscow Union of Artists, painting section. Since 2023, I am a member of the Union of Artists of Russia, painting section.
